About us

Acorn Software's directors have been building software for the medical, aged-care and international freight logistics sectors since 2002.

AcornSoftware Pty Ltd was created to specifically target the Australian Government's Support at Home (SAH) program, which commenced in November 2025. The SAH program significantly tightened the regulations around compliance, auditing and reporting.

The granularity and complexity of the data now required by the Government has resulted in the older platforms — designed for the NDIS but adapted for the Home Care Packages Program — being insufficient for the Support at Home program. Acorn Software has developed a modular package that is compliant with SAH requirements.

Windows-based administration for care coordinators covering client management, rostering, journey planning and full audit-ready reporting for Support at Home compliance.

Acorn Carelink mobile

iOS and Android app for care workers — GPS check-in, visit notes, dictation, photo evidence, scheduled breaks and incident reporting, all synced live with the provider platform.
